Financial wellness speaker for associations and industry conferences.
Your members come from every corner of your industry, and every one of them has a paycheck and a plan they are not sure about. I give the whole room a money session they will talk about on the drive home, whether it's your annual meeting or a chapter webinar.

The one topic every member in your room has in common.
You are building an annual meeting agenda for a room that runs from owners to first-year hires, from the city chapter to the rural one. Technical sessions split the room. Motivational sessions fade by Monday.
Money is the subject every member is carrying into the ballroom, whatever their title, and almost nobody has been taught how to handle it. Give them that session and they leave with something they can use before the next dues invoice, and they remember who put it on the agenda.

Hi, I'm Hillary Seiler. And association rooms are my favorite rooms.
I have spent 16+ years teaching people how money works, 14 of them inside banking and mortgage lending, where I sat across the desk from contractors, nurses, lineworkers, agents and small business owners and watched them make big decisions without ever having been taught the basics. I started Financial Footwork in 2016 to change that, first with professional sports organizations, then with the employers, associations and universities who saw what a room looked like afterward. My book, Train Your Money, is the method I teach from the stage.
I've done the work. I don't sell.
Association audiences are mixed, skeptical of anything that sounds like a sales pitch, and can tell within two minutes whether a speaker has done the work. I learn your industry before I show up, I use your members' numbers and your members' language, and I am not there to sell anyone anything. I teach, and your members leave believing they can handle their money.

Before I walk on stage, I get on a planning call with your team and send your members a short survey, so I know your industry. Then I build the session around it, so the examples are a job site, a branch, a clinic or a listing, whatever your members actually do. Members hear their own life in the session, which is why it holds a mixed room.

Meeting Planners Download the media kit Watch Hillary speakWhat makes Hillary different from other association keynote speakers?
Hillary spent 14 years inside banking and mortgage lending before she ever stepped on a stage, and she has taught money to rooms that range from NFL locker rooms to credit union staff to the Women and Leadership Conference. She gets on a planning call with your team and surveys your members before the event, uses their language and numbers, and does not sell financial products or collect member information. The session is built for a mixed room and it holds one.
Does a financial wellness keynote work for a mixed membership?
It is the reason associations book it. Every member has a paycheck, whatever their title or tenure, and money is the one subject that applies to the owner and the first-year hire at the same time. Hillary builds the session around how your members earn and spend, so everyone in the room hears their own life in it.
Which keynote is right for our annual conference?
Train Your Money is the general session pick. Money, Backwards fits leadership tracks, The Math Has to Math fits trades and commission-based industries, The Belief Before the Money fits young professional and emerging leader programs, and The $183 Billion Problem fits associations whose members are the employers. See all five on the Keynotes page, or tell our team about your audience on the booking form and we'll recommend one.
Can a sponsor be attached to the session?
Yes. Sponsored sessions are a natural fit for banks, credit unions, insurers and benefits providers. The sponsor's name goes on the session, but Hillary does not represent or promote any sponsor's products, and members are never asked for their information.
What do members and the association get afterward?
Every attendee gets the Train Your Money Starter Playbook and the session worksheets. The association gets a one-page Event Recap with participation, the questions the room asked, and suggested next steps, ready for your board. Hillary never reports individual financial information.
How far ahead should we book an association keynote speaker?
