Financial education speaker for professional sports organizations.
Your players train for everything except the paycheck. For ten seasons I have been the person who walks into the facility and teaches them how money works, from rookie orientation to the day they leave the game.

Financially stable players perform better. That is the whole reason to do this.
Financial security
A playing career is a short income window. The money has to last decades past the last game, and that only happens if the player understands it while it is coming in.
Performance
A player who is not worried about money is a player who is all the way in the building. Money stress shows up in focus, in the locker room, and on the field.
Protection
Players are targets. Education is how they learn to spot a bad deal, vet the people around them, and find professionals they can trust.
Every organization has a player development calendar and a list of things players need to hear. Financial education is on the list every year, and it is the hardest one to deliver, because players have heard the cautionary tales and tuned them out.
What works is a teacher who has been in the building long enough to earn the room, who talks to players like professionals, and who gives them something to do with the next check.

Hi, I'm Hillary Seiler. In the locker room, I'm Coach Hill.
The players gave me the name, and it stuck because that is the job. I do not lecture. I coach. In 2016 a player engagement director called and asked if I could teach his rookies how money works. I could, because I had spent years inside banking and mortgage lending watching people with brand new income make the same expensive mistakes. That first room turned into Financial Footwork, and Financial Footwork turned into ten seasons inside NFL and NBA organizations. My book, Train Your Money, is the playbook I teach from, built on what those locker rooms taught me.
Here's what I am, and what I'm not.
I am an educator and a coach. I am not a financial advisor. I do not sell products, I do not manage money, and I do not take a percentage of anything. That is why player engagement staff let me in the building, and why players tell me things they would never tell the person managing their money.
Keynotes, workshops and seminars for every stage of a player's career.
Keynotes
45, 60 or 90 minutesRookie orientation, the team-wide session in training camp, league and players association events, player development conferences. Built for a room of professionals who have heard every speaker the league sends.
Workshops
90 minutes to a full daySmall groups, hands on, worksheets out. Rookie cohorts building their first plan, veterans running the numbers on the years after the game, and career transition workshops. Twelve topics across three tracks.
Seminars
30-60 minutesFor the whole room, live or virtual. The training camp series, the in-season lunch session, the offseason check-in, the transition series for retiring players. Book one, a series of two, or a full season of four or more.
One program for every stage of the player lifecycle.
Rookie orientation
Rookie financial education before the first big check: banking, credit, the paycheck, and who to trust.
Training camp
The team-wide keynote or a short seminar series while the whole roster is in one place.
In season
Lunch sessions and small-group workshops that fit between meetings and keep the plan going.
Offseason
The deeper workshops, the veteran sessions, and the check-in on what changed since camp.
Career transition
Workshops and seminar series for players leaving the game: the money, the identity, and the plan for what comes next.
Front office and staff
Coaches, scouts and staff have paychecks too. A seminar or keynote for the people who run the building.

Built around your roster, not a standard program.
Before I walk into the facility I learn your organization. Then I build the sessions around it, so a rookie room and a ten-year veteran room get different sessions, and the plan fits the way your players actually get paid.

“Hillary has been a major boost to our Professional Development Program, both with our rookies and our veterans. Financial education can be difficult to address in front of a group of young professional athletes, but she eliminates all of those concerns. With dynamic delivery as well as a detailed and organized approach, she has resonated with our players, increasing their level of financial understanding.”

“This is undoubtedly one of the best financial education platforms in the world. Hillary offers the ability to conduct a plethora of financial education group sessions tailored to each player's specific needs. Many financial service offerings don't teach the financial fundamentals. Hillary starts with those fundamentals and then progresses individuals to an advanced level throughout their careers. If you want your people to have a financial playbook with successful money moves and plays that build wealth, Hillary will put them in a position to leave a legacy well beyond their playing careers.”

Is this financial advising?

What does an athlete financial education program include?
Keynotes, workshops and seminars built around your roster, covering everything from basic money skills to career transition. Every player gets the Train Your Money Starter Playbook and the session worksheets, and your engagement staff get a one-page Event Recap.
